With extensive expertise in recruitment-sector technology, Jon ensures Astute benefits from streamlined systems, efficient processes and robust cyber security, enabling the business to grow and operate safely and effectively.

Jon oversees all aspects of Astute People’s IT infrastructure, from system integration and data security to workflow optimisation and technology support. His focus is on creating a seamless technology environment that supports both the operational and strategic goals of the business, helping teams work efficiently while maintaining secure and reliable systems.

Career Highlights

Before joining Astute, Jon explored diverse career paths, including aspirations in TV and film production. Among his most unusual experiences was changing fire detectors in a Category A prison — a role that reinforced his favourite piece of advice: “Don’t always say what you think!”

Since joining Astute, Jon has played an important role in developing the technology infrastructure that supports the company’s continued growth. His combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills and practical approach helps ensure Astute’s teams have the systems and support they need to succeed.

Outside Work

Jon is a passionate traveller with a particular love for Las Vegas, having visited the city six times and even competing in a World Series of Poker event. His adventurous spirit and creative mindset bring a unique energy to his IT leadership role at Astute.
