Maintenance Mechanic
Astute People Inc is partnering with a growing Anaerobic Digestion / RNG business to recruit a Maintenance Mechanic for its plant near Baltimore, MD.
The Maintenance Mechanic role comes with an hourly rate of $40 + benefits.

Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor / Manager you will:
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on a variety of mechanical & electrical systems and equipment.
- Install and commission new equipment.
- Ensure that all maintenance records are kept up to date via the site’s CMMS system.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the site’s safety protocols.
- Work closely with production & engineering to ensure the site remains in operation.
- Work on equipment such as motors, conveyor, controls panels, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC’s & VFD’s.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience performing maintenance in a heavy engineering / industrial setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required and technical certification or associate degree in maintenance, electrical tech or related field.
