Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Plant

Astute People Inc is partnering with power plant owner & operator to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer for its power plants east of Tulsa. 

The Senior Electrical Engineer role comes with a salary up to $125,000, 401K, Benefits & relocation assistance.

Responsibilities and Duties 

 

Reporting to the Technical Service Manager, you will: 

• Carry out electrical project work on two power plants (Coal & Gas)
• Work with equipment such as combustion turbines, steam turbines, boilers, HRSG, transformers and generators.
• Manage project teams and external contractors.
• Assisting in the design review of generation projects.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders during project works.
• Create specifications and prepare bid documents.
• Assist in the development of Maintenance Technicians.  
• Assist O&M teams with operational issues.

Professional qualifications 

We are looking for someone with the following: 

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineer
• Excellent knowledge of power plant systems (Electrical, Mechanical, High pressure steam processes)
• 10+ years acting as an Electrical Engineer in a power plant setting.
• PE registration in Oklahoma is preferred, but not essential.
