Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading Solar PV company to recruit a Solar Roofer on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for the work to become long-term across multiple sites in London.

The Solar Roofer role comes with a day rate between £175-£200.

Responsibilities and duties of the Solar Roofer role

You will be responsible for:

• Installing solar panels and mounting systems
• Installing rails, mounting systems and associated equipment
• Working safely alongside Solar Electricians and wider site teams
• Following drawings and installation specifications

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Previous roofing experience
• Previous Solar PV installation experience is highly desirable
• UK right to work

Personal skills and prior experience

The Solar Roofer role would suit someone who has:

• Experience working on commercial or domestic roofing projects
• Comfort working at height
• A strong understanding of safe working practices
• Own transport, as a company vehicle will not be provided
