Shift Supervisor - York PA
Astute’s People is partnering with a leading solid fuel plant owner and operator to recruit a Shift Supervisor working at its site in York, PA.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will:
- Lead your shift team, ensuring that the plant is operated safely and efficiently.
- Take full responsibility for the lockout / tagout system and other permits.
- Manage work orders through the CMMS.
- Conduct and manage plant walk rounds.
- Serve as the Plant Managers representative during shift periods.
- Train, develop and motivate your shift team.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Engineering Degree is desirable
- HS Diploma or GED is essential
- Experience as a Control Room Supervisor or Shift Supervisor and looking to develop their career.
- At least five years experience working in a Power Generation or similar environment.
Personal skills
The Shift Supervisor role would suit someone who is:
- Happy working on a rotating shift pattern.
- Computer literate.
- Detailed orientated with strong attention to detail.
